Only one so far, using epals to have classes trade their information about the water sources and purification technologies in their area. This would be best to have a class say here in Michigan and one on a any of the major coast lines of the united states.
Do we want to do that then? We'll have students in let's say California, compare and contrast? How does that sound? Are you good with googlemaps? I have never used it? I'll try to work on our A section tomorrow.
Sounds good. I'll get on google maps sometime after I get home from work, around 8 or 9 on Thursday. By the way how is your video coming along for this week?
I haven't started it yet. I wanted to get this part done first. What are you doing yours on? I don't know what I am going to do mine on yet. I wasn't able to see the videos she posted on Module 4, so I am kind of confused what I should do..what are you doing? How's yours coming along? I don't understand the microphone part yet.
We should compare to Arizona, or somewhere with less water than Michigan. We could compare/contrast different water resources in Michigan compared to Arizona. Since in Michigan we are surrounded by the Great Lakes, we are available to water on a regular basis. Somewhere warmer, such as Arizona, does not always have the same amount of water available. How does that sound?
Comparing to Arizona sounds cool. The idea of looking at a state surrounded by fresh water and a state that is mainly desert sounds great for water resources comparison. As for the video mine will be along the same lines as the video idea I proposed in my lesson plan in the last module.
I don't know if the google document worked. I added you and Professor Peterson. I wrote something up. Please please please edit as much as you want! i'm not sure if it's exactly what we are looking for.
Hey guys... sorry Tia- my email is brookek8331@gmail.com
I like the Arizona idea, just to see how everything has to be managed because it would be some what limited.. Although... with the oil spill going on, it would kinda be cool to look into that, ya know.. like what kind of water resources were going to need, and how the spill is going to effect the water, and for how much longer.. because obviously Florida would be more impacted then us. But I definitely like the Arizona idea.
